#1. Here is the Bummis Super Whisper
Wrap's inner . . . see the tabs to left and right and
the 'pocket' in the front?
The Bummis Super Whisper Wrap is made from a super
resistant waterproof laminate sandwiched between two layers of
a soft polyester knit.
Other diaper wraps can be used as well . . . some are more
lightweight than the Super Whisper Wrap and have add'l built-in leg gussets
for containing those dreaded baby diaper 'blow-outs.'

#2. The Super Whisper Wrap can hold a Prefold in a variety of ways. Each way has its own pros
and cons.
Above is the simplest, and probably the most popular, way
to utilize a Super Whisper Wrap. The Prefold
is folded from selvage (stitched) end to selvage end and then
tri-folded to fit snugly in the body of the Super Whisper
Wrap.
Notice the front portion is tucked into the cover's pocket
to 'hold' it in place.
If wanting to use a micro-fleece liner in the stride to wick moisture from baby's skin,
make sure you lay it atop in the stride.

#3. Another popular way to lay a Prefold into a Super Whisper Wrap is to tri-fold it lengthwise
(making it longer). As you can see it will exceed the
'length' of the wrap, so you can either fold the add'l length
down in back or front (depending on where you need the
absorption).
The picture below shows the length-wise folded Chinese
Prefold tucked down in back.
The picture below shows the length-wise folded
Chinese Prefold tucked down in the forward 'pocket' of the
Bummis Super Whisper Wrap. The pocket was not designed
to 'hold' the prefold up front, but we have found it helps to
stabilize it somewhat. If you discover problems with
wicking, discontinue using it in this fashion. |
