Diaper Folding 101 : Folding Birdseye Flats
Birdseye Flat Fold Diapers :: According to Jessica at

Diaper Shop , Flat Folds are "Often confused with
prefolds, until you see one. These diapers are a single layer of
fabric which you can fold a number of ways to fit your baby." See

1. Fold your flat square in half.
|
2. Bring in one side a few inches past the middle.
|
3. Fold in the other side, overlapping your second fold to
create a middle absorbent panel that should now have 6 soft layers in it.

4. Angel fold by bringing the new bottom corners in on a
diagonal.
|
5. Lay baby on the diaper at this point & bring up the
center through the legs.
|
6. Wrap the wings around & secure with diaper pins or a
Snappi®
|
**Alternative method. Follow steps 1 - 3 above, then turn diaper to the side & bring in short sides & layer in the
middle. Bring in the other side. Now simply lay into a Velcro® or Aplix® closing wrap
& secure. |
